Students and Central Piedmont Employees can begin a chat on the Online Client Portal for quick and efficient assistance from the ITS Service Desk.
Instructions
- Navigate to the Online Client Portal homepage.
- Locate the blue chat button on the right side of the page.

3. Select New Conversation.

4. Enter your First and Last name.
Note- If you know your ID number, please also enter it in the name field.

5. You will be connected with the next available Service Desk agent for assistance.
Chat Tips
- Before starting a chat, please have your ID number or user name readily available.
- If you need to retrieve or update sensitive account information, we will need to verify your identity over a brief video call via Microsoft Teams.
- You can email yourself a transcript of the chat for future reference by navigating to the menu option and selecting "Email transcript".
