Activating Your Student Account

Activation steps

1. Navigate to activator.cpcc.edu

  • Click "Continue

2.  Enter your Student ID Number, select the account type, click "I'm not a robot", and then click "Claim".

3. Fill in the requested information and click "Verify":
    Students will be prompted for an Activation Code, Personal Email Address, DOB, and Zip Code on file.

Note- The activation code is generated upon clicking "Claim" and will be sent to the personal email address that you used to apply to the College with.
The email will look like the image below and include an unique code. You can copy and paste the code into the Activator site.

4. Enter your new password. The password requirements are as follows.

  • Must contain at least 14 characters.
  • Must contain 3 out of 4 of the following:
  • Upper case letter
  • Lower case letter
  • Number
  • Special Character
  • The password cannot contain any personal information (name, username, DOB, Student ID Number, etc.)

5. You will then receive a success message that includes your user name and email address.

You will be able to log into your account an hour after activation. Please call the Service Desk at 704-330-5000 if you encounter any errors or difficulties during this process. If you need any personal information, account-related information, or a password reset during this process, we will need to verify your identity over a quick video call.
